ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE To establish a drug batch number traceability management mode in intelligent anesthesia pharmacy of operating room， improve the management level of batch number traceability in anesthesia pharmacy of operating room and ensure the safety of surgical medication. METHODS The problems encountered in the application of batch number traceability management mode in intelligent anesthesia pharmacy of operating room were analyzed to implement the optimization measure and summarize the optimization effect. RESULTS In view of the incompatibility of multiple batch numbers on the dosing track， the insufficient number of drugs in the automated dispensing cabinet， the long replenishment time， the low stability of the automated dispensing cabinet， and the tedious management of drugs with a near-expiration period， the following measures were implemented， including changing the minimum unit of dosing， adjusting the drug base number and surgery schedule， optimizing the supplementary drug delivery order， repairing dosing tracks of the automated dispensing cabinet， adding the batch number correction function， improving the screening function of drugs with a near-expiration period， and configuring the automated dispensing cabinet in the recovery room. It realized the coexistence of multiple batch numbers on the dosing track， the sufficient number of drugs in the automated dispensing cabinet， the shortening of the replenishment time， the improvement in the stability of the automated dispensing cabinet， and the efficient management of drugs with a near-expiration period. CONCLUSIONS The batch number traceability management mode is established in intelligent anesthesia pharmacy of operating room in our hospital， which improves the system function module， optimizes the work process， increases the stability of the automated dispensing cabinet， improves the work efficiency， and realizes the refined management of surgical medication.
ABSTRACT
The development of quality Chinese medicine is an important way to improve the quality of Chinese medicine, and ensure the safety and effectiveness of Chinese medicine. This article systematically elaborates the definition, classification, standard and mana-gement certification strategy of quality Chinese medicine. We present the quality Chinese medicine which is higher quality than that of eligible Chinese medicine based on quality control standards. Quality Chinese medicine is strictly in accordance with management procedures, likely GAP and GMP et al, during the productive process, which quality indicators is higher than that of the current relevant national quality standards, such as Chinese Pharmacopoeia(ChP) et al; its limited indicators such as exogenous pollutants and endogenous toxic substances are lower than that of the current relevant national quality standards, likely ChP et al; meanwhile these Chinese herbal medicine, medicinal pieces, patent medicines, and health products and foods with Chinese medicine raw materials are been certificated by quality Chinese medicine. At the same time, this article systematically expounds the five major management systems of quality Chinese medicine, including technical training management for practitioners, productive process management, standard mana-gement, quality inspection and certification management, and product traceability management. And we put forward strategies to improve the supervision and management system, and promote the standardization and development of quality Chinese medicine by improving the technical management system of quality Chinese medicine, strengthening the quality management system and six sigma(6σ) management in the company. These strategies will provide a reliable basis and effective way to improve the quality of Chinese medicine.

Object To explore a new management mode to increase the efficiency of medical consumables management while decrease the hospital cost. Methods The management mode involved in management theories and technologies as well as modern information system so that a set of medical consumables management flow was established.Results Whole-course traceability was implemented for the medical consumables from admittance to utilization, and medical consumables active management mode was constructed in the secondary warehouse.Conclusion The new management mode of medical consumables helps to improve the management level and competitiveness of the hospital.

The authors, based on barcode analysis and tracking technology, designed a complete supply chain management system for ophthalmic consumables, systematically solving the traceability challenge of high-value medical consumables ( mainly implanted medical instruments) . This innovation can sizably reduce the inbound/outbound error rate at level-1 and level 2 warehouses of the hospital, downsizing inventory cost expenditure and upsizing work efficiency. The management of "one item for one code"constitutes a traceable closed loop for such consumables, improving the informationized, standardized and refined management, and reducing the incidence of adverse events for medical devices. Thus the quality management system of eye hospitals can be elevated.
ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:To develop the drug traceability management system in outpatients of medical institutions,and gradu-ally improve its traceability management. METHODS:Based on barcode technology,drug traceability management system in outpa-tients of medical institutions was independently developed,introducing it from system environment,framework design and system function,and the application results were evaluated in terms of differences in dispensing time,deployment error,drug withdrawal treatment and applicability investigation. RESULTS:The system was developed on hospital information system network environ-ment,which was designed by combination of client/server(C/S)network system(B/S)and set function modules as follows as role rights management,data extraction,information control,data acquisition and data query. The system can match with drug electron-ic surveillance code,commodity code and other traceable barcodes,achieve drug tracing from hospitals to users through software interaction,as well as the computer-aided calibration in dispensing to effectively reduce outpatient's dispensing error. The average time for each outpatient prescription prolonged 9 s after using the system;24 dispensing errors and 4 non-normal withdrawals were prevented within 1 month;100% surveyed pharmacists expressed approval for the system's applicability. CONCLUSIONS:The system can achieve the drug suitability management in outpatients,which has shown good applicability and further improved drug safety management and control capabilities in medical institutions.

Objective:To discuss the use and management of medical material in hospital in order to resolve the key problem during medical material was used in department of device management.Methods: Using the modern logistics management idea to overall upgrade the original system. And to reconstruct the hospital integrated operations management platform included all aspects, such as design ideas, technical architecture, software function and so on, from whole management requirement point.Results: This platform could provide the improvement solution of traceability management for medical material in hospital, and increase the efficiency and transparency of management, and improve the whole management level in hospital.Conclusion: The introduced integrated operations management platform has standardized high-value materials management, met the fine management and cost requirements, and greatly improved the management level of medical materials.
